The RadioShack case is an example, ITC was able to quickly get an investigation by a legislator under way to stop RadioShack from falsely advertising that remanufactured product use will void a customer’s warranty. 1) Author a Letter to the Editor of Imaging Spectrum our monthly magazine.

2) Draft an Article for Imaging Spectrum: We publish our projected month-by-month issue themes every January. Our editors will work with you to develop your ideas and we’ll publish your article in the best looking and fastest growing magazine in the industry!

3) Contact Your State Chapter President: There are always opportunities within
every chapter to contribute your ideas and to join a project committee such as
consumer education, environmental partnering, lobbying and legislative action.

4) Become a Chapter Committee Chairperson and work with local members and the
members of our national board of directors on identified association priorities and
issues.

5) Bring You Ideas and Concerns to the National Level: Our staff members are assigned areas of responsibility and serve as contacts for members of a host of
issues and projects.

6) Attend the Annual Meeting and Conference. Registration is free to members.

7) Participate in the Annual Legislative Summit in Washington, D.C. in October. At this meeting we set the agenda and priorities for the coming year together.
